This Spring Festival holiday, Southwest China's Guizhou province will showcase traditional culture from across the province through a series of immersive performances such as Dixi opera, traditional ceremonies, and ethnic fashion shows.

Tourists will be able to experience the legacy of Guizhou's traditional culture while savoring the unique charm of traditional Chinese New Year celebrations in Guiyang, Anshun, Bijie, and other cities across the province.

Jiudongtian Scenic Area in Bijie will host activities with intangible heritage items to celebrate the Spring Festival from Feb 17 to 22.

Combining national intangible cultural heritage performances with immersive interactive experiences and stunning Karst landscapes, the scenic area invites tourists to celebrate a unique Chinese New Year.

From Feb 17 to 19, the Miao ethnic group's renowned Lusheng dance will take center stage at the Central Plaza and Tiansheng Bridge. With three shows daily, performers will showcase breathtaking stunts, including human pyramids, balancing bamboo on their heads, and acrobatic spins and leaps.

From Feb 17 to 22, traditional Guizhou folk songs will echo through the Yunxiao Gorge, with artists in ethnic costumes performing at scheduled times for a deep dive into local culture.

The Xiangwangtian Blessing Platform will also host riddles and lucky spins. Visitors who solve a traditional culture-themed riddle can spin the lucky wheel to win prizes, including entrance tickets, handicrafts, and souvenirs.
