Guizhou CPPCC members prioritize people's well-being

The fourth session of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), a key gathering for the inaugural year of the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-30), opened in Beijing on March 4, carrying development visions and the hopes of millions for a better life.

Over the past year, CPPCC members from Guizhou have immersed themselves in grassroots work, carrying out their duties in rural fields, schools, and factories.

CPPCC member Cheng Yan promoted central policies to various sectors of Hong Kong society, building a bridge of mutual understanding between the Chinese mainland and Hong Kong.

CPPCC member Cui Haiyang called for the joint creation of an intelligent education platform during the China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week, advocating for talent development in Guizhou and the broader region.

CPPCC member Wang Shuqian visited schools in Qiannan Bouyei and Miao autonomous prefecture, Qiandongnan Miao and Dong autonomous prefecture, and Tongren city, witnessing firsthand the effective implementation of the "Ten Measures to Further Strengthen Mental Health Work for Primary and Secondary School Students."

CPPCC member Chen Qianlin led his team in overcoming technical challenges in phosphogypsum utilization, providing solutions for enterprises while contributing to environmental protection.
