Yunshe village offered a picturesque landscape of green mountains, gurgling streams and scattered Tujia stilted buildings. On March 28, international journalists and online celebrities from more than 10 countries visited the "No 1 Tujia village in China" for a cultural tour.
Located at the foot of Fanjing Mountain, Yunshe village, meaning "fairy house in the clouds", is an important historical site for Tujia culture, retaining the area’s traditional architecture and way of life.

The guests took part in traditional glutinous rice cake pounding, with Irish blogger Luke O'Farrell giving it a try and praising its soft texture. Later, Dong girls held a unique "High Mountain Flowing Water" toasting ceremony, while a special matcha-themed feast delighted the guests. A Pakistani journalist commended the matcha tofu pudding for its unique and fresh taste.
