In the first quarter, Guizhou's railway freight volume hit 9.58 million metric tons, marking a year-on-year increase of 12.02 percent. Freight revenue totaled 1.19 billion yuan ($175.07 million), up 14.31 percent, while daily loadings averaged 1,793 containers, representing 14.9 percent growth.
Throughout Q1, Guiyang Railway Logistics Center optimized capacity resources, streamlined operational workflows, and strengthened collaborative synergy to ensure the efficient flow of goods.
Concurrently, the center enhanced coordination with ports, customs, and other authorities. With the advantages of multimodal transport, it secured the transportation of key materials, such as spring farming supplies and daily consumer essentials, safeguarding public well-being through stable logistics channels.
As a hub of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor, Guiyang's efficient operations in Q1 not only showcase Guizhou's robust transport organization capabilities and hub-radiation effect but also reflect the vitality of the regional economic recovery.
