Huawei holds artificial intelligence innovation summit in Guizhou

The Huawei China Tour 2026 · Guizhou Artificial Intelligence Innovation Summit was held on May 27 in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province. It aimed to strengthen the foundation of independent computing power and AI infrastructure, develop scalable industry AI solutions, and foster a collaborative AI ecosystem.

These efforts will further support Guizhou's mission to become an innovation zone for the digital economy, establish a national computing power security hub, and drive high-quality regional development.

During the summit, Guizhou Big Data Industry Group and Huawei launched Ascend AI joint solutions, which are expected to boost Guizhou's digital economy and help build a highly efficient, collaborative digital industry ecosystem.

The summit also featured the launch of the Guizhou Ascend Industry Cooperation Alliance, which brings together 57 member entities, including three client organizations, five industry associations, 11 hardware ecosystem partners, 37 independent software vendors, and Huawei.

The alliance establishes a multi-party, collaborative industrial ecosystem. Powered by the Ascend technical foundation, it aims to integrate supply chain resources, drive innovative applications of AI computing power, and accelerate industrial clustering and technological breakthroughs in Guizhou's AI sector.

In the future, Huawei will continue to collaborate with clients and partners in Guizhou to integrate into the "Digital Guizhou, Computing Guizhou, and Smart Guizhou" initiatives.
