The historical film Crossing is set to hit theaters nationwide on June 26 to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the Red Army's Long March victory. Centered on the iconic "Four Crossings of the Chishui River", the film uses fresh storytelling to recreate this legendary military miracle.

As a grand, panoramic chronicle of the entire campaign, Crossing was filmed entirely on location in Guizhou province, spanning 32 locations and 107 sets. Among these, the Battle of Loushanguan stands out as a pivotal clash that decided the fate of the Red Army and serves as the film's most substantial centerpiece.

To capture this authentically, the crew traveled to the actual Loushanguan battlefield for extensive location scouting. This sequence weaves together large-scale assaults, daring cliffside ambushes, intelligence warfare, and split-second command decisions, representing not only a critical turning point in the Chishui campaign but also the Red Army's first major victory since the start of the Long March.
