Yu Shi encourages youth at Crossing premiere in Guiyang

At Tuesday's premiere of Crossing in Guiyang, Guizhou province, rising Chinese actor Yu Shi encouraged young people to push through the challenges of school and work.

"No matter how far the journey may be, every step brings you closer to your destination," he said.

In the historical war film, Yu plays Zhao Defa, a fictional Red Army company commander. Crossing hits theaters nationwide on June 26.
