Sipping coffee amid a unique environment and stunning landscapes has become a ubiquitous experience in Xingyi, a city in Qianxinan Bouyei and Miao autonomous prefecture, Southwest China's Guizhou province.

Here, cafes are no longer just places to buy a drink. They blend seamlessly with Qianxinan's limestone mountains, historic homes, seas of clouds, and emerald rice paddies, creating a one-of-a-kind "Xingyi-style" coffee experience.

According to incomplete statistics, the Wanfenglin Scenic Area alone boasts over 40 specialty village cafes and scenic coffee spots. This allows tourists to pair breathtaking views with a relaxing brew. Meanwhile, the city center is teeming with cafes of every style, making a quick stroll downstairs for a morning cup a standard daily ritual for local residents.

In recent years, Guizhou has seen a surge in highly distinctive cafes, produced multiple World Brewers Cup champions, and fostered a unique local coffee culture. Today, coffee consumption environments are more diverse, the customer base spans all demographics, and the combination of coffee, culture and tourism has yielded remarkable results.

The strategic cluster of cafes throughout scenic spots, business districts, and nightlife hubs does more than just offer tourists a place to rest, dine, sightsee, and experience local culture. It enriches tourism offerings, encourages visitors to stay longer, and creates a wealth of jobs and entrepreneurial opportunities for local communities.
