Intl youths experience Guizhou's innovation and tradition

Young people from around the world participating in the "Bridge to See Guizhou" Cultural Exchange Program – an event hosted by Guizhou University of Engineering Science – recently visited the Huajiang Grand Canyon Bridge to learn about its development from initial surveying to completion.

Looking down at the canyon hundreds of meters below, with towering bridge pylons beside them and mountain breezes sweeping across, they immersed themselves in the moment.

In recent years, through the youth exchange initiatives of the China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week, Guizhou has established distinctive cultural study programs such as the "Bridge to See Guizhou" Cultural Exchange Program and the "Zhi & Xing Guizhou" Silk Road Youth Exchange Program.

These initiatives invite youth from ASEAN and overseas to Guizhou to experience firsthand the cultural heritage of multi-ethnic symbiosis and integration, witness the miracle of leap-forward development, and gradually come to understand Guizhou.

This year, Guizhou will continue to host cultural and sporting events such as the Gen Z "Cultural Resonance" Program, the China-ASEAN Youth Community Forum, youth football tournaments, and international youth esports invitation tournaments.

Throughout the year, the province plans to invite over 5,000 overseas youths to Guizhou for exchanges and study trips, striving to build an innovative new exchange scenario integrating education, esports, cultural tourism, and science popularization.
