These aerial photos show the pipeline arch bridge of the Jiayan water conservancy project in Dafang county, Guizhou province, stretching between lush mountains to cross the Baifu River.

The siphon pipeline bridge is a key part of the project, allowing water to cross valleys and other natural obstacles through a pressurized pipeline system.

The Jiayan project was built to supply water to urban and rural communities, irrigate farmland, and generate hydropower. It is expected to strengthen local water infrastructure while easing long-standing challenges in water access and agricultural production.
