Guizhou-made quadruped robots to take stage at Big Data Expo 2026

During the China International Big Data Industry Expo 2026, Aug 28-30, Zhiqing Robot will showcase solutions and engineering applications for quadruped robots across a variety of scenarios, including cultural entertainment, emergency management, scientific research and education, power inspection, and security patrols.

Zhiqing Robot, a wholly owned subsidiary of Genisom AI established in Gui'an New Area, entered trial production this June, focusing on manufacturing core joints for quadruped robots.

"Each Gangbeng L1 robot features 12 joints, and we currently produce 1,200 P65 joints per day, bringing the annual capacity to 300,000 sets," said Chen Hailun, southwest regional sales director at Zhiqing Robot.

He noted that the Gangbeng L1 is primarily used in security patrols, power inspections, emergency rescue, smart agriculture, and academic research. Later this year, the company will also launch a fully automated production line for the P85MAX-S – a joint with higher torque designed to meet the assembly needs of larger quadruped robots – which will boast an annual capacity of 600,000 sets.

Genisom AI is one of the few domestic companies capable of achieving stable, large-scale mass delivery of quadruped robots. With self-developed integrated joint modules and AI reinforcement learning motion-control algorithms, the company has accumulated a total production volume of over 15,000 units, backed by standardized, continuous full-machine delivery capabilities.
