The China International Big Data Industry Expo 2026 opened on Aug 28 in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, and will run until Aug 30.
The expo is organized around computing infrastructure, data supply, model-driven applications, security, and intelligent experiences, bringing together more than 300 participating companies alongside dedicated exhibition zones.
More than 20 industry exchange events will be held around five themes: developing the data industry; building high-quality datasets and advancing annotation; strengthening data infrastructure and standardization; deepening international cooperation in the digital economy; and developing application scenarios.
More than 10 industry ecosystem events will connect major companies, including Huawei; over 100 high-growth companies will participate in supply-and-demand matchmaking activities; four industrial parks will host dedicated business matchmaking sessions; and more than 30 overseas companies will take part in a series of cross-border business matchmaking events.
This year's expo will also stand out for three major features: deeper integration, greater innovation, and stronger collaboration. Integration between the expo and industries will enhance the event's quality and influence; innovative approaches to exhibitions and services will improve participants' experiences; and closer coordination between the expo and the city will strengthen overall support and services.
