The 15th China (Guizhou) International Alcoholic Beverages Expo (CIAEXPO) will be held from Sept 11 to 13 in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province. Spanning 80,000 square meters, this year's expo has already secured 1,117 participating enterprises, and admission will be free for the general public.
The expo will simultaneously launch the "9.9 CIAEXPO Consumption Season" from Sept 9 to Oct 9, partnering with 51 major business districts, culinary blocks, and coffee shops. Roadside concerts and international sports events will help turn visitor traffic into a boost for urban consumption.
In a first, this year's expo features a partnership with the Frankfurt International Trophy. The competition spans 49 countries and regions, bringing together 50,000 wine samples and 400 international judges annually. Award-contending wines will be showcased in a dedicated exhibition area at the expo, connecting them directly with tens of thousands of professional buyers.
Throughout the expo, more than 30 business-matching events will take place, including the 2026 Belt and Road Economic and Trade Exchange Conference, the Wine Industry Leaders Summit & Guizhou Baijiu B2B Trade Matchmaking Meeting, and the Wine Industry Innovation and Development Conference.
Additionally, the expo organizer and enterprises will jointly launch an AI export service platform, utilizing data-driven solutions to help wine enterprises expand into international markets.
