Guizhou Plum Garden enjoys peak tourism season

Guizhou Plum Garden in Gaofeng town, Gui'an New Area, Southwest China's Guizhou province, is drawing large crowds. Over 300 mu (20 hectares) of pink muhly grass and balsam flowers blend into a romantic sea of color, making it a top weekend escape pick for locals and tourists.

Building on the garden's popularity, Gaofeng has launched a promotional campaign linking admission tickets with local spending, creating a complete "flower viewing, dining, lodging, and entertainment" experience. The campaign will run through the end of this year's flowering season.

Through strategic tiered planting and staggered maintenance schedules, the garden has extended its viewing season from May through October, ensuring that visitors are greeted with flowers every month and new scenery every season.

The garden is also developing specialty areas for pampas grass, camellia, and crape myrtle. To further enrich the visitor experience, a series of themed events will launch during the upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival holiday.

Moving forward, Gaofeng will strengthen partnerships between the garden and local villages to expand the flower economy, turning simple day trips into overnight stays. By continuing to build up the "Four-Season Flower Sea" tourism brand, the initiative will provide a steady boost to local rural development, fostering a thriving, beautiful, and harmonious community.
