The 15th China (Guizhou) International Alcoholic Beverages Expo opened on Sept 11 in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province. Running until Sept 13, this year's expo brings together 1,117 wine and baijiu enterprises from 29 countries and regions, showcasing over 20,000 alcoholic beverages.
The display includes wine, spirits, beer, and fruit wine, along with materials, technologies, and equipment across the entire alcoholic beverage industry chain. It also features alcoholic derivatives, fine-wine lifestyles, wine-industry tourism, and wine-culture products.
The expo features eight dedicated exhibition halls and zones, with more than 30 business and cultural events planned.
Admission to the expo is free. Visitors can get a free ticket online by following the official WeChat accounts of the "Guizhou International Alcoholic Beverages Expo Service Platform" or the "International Alcoholic Beverages Expo." One registration remains valid for all three days of the exhibition.
To enhance the consumer experience and offer more affordability, the expo will distribute 3 million yuan ($447,126) in baijiu consumption vouchers. Additionally, consumers using UnionPay payment methods at eligible booths will receive a 20 percent discount, with a cap of 500 yuan per transaction.
Held in Guiyang since 2011, the China (Guizhou) International Alcoholic Beverages Expo has now spanned 15 years. Through sustained, in-depth cultivation, it has evolved into a national and international platform for the global alcoholic beverage industry to deepen exchanges, promote trade and investment, and celebrate Chinese baijiu culture.
