The 2026 China (Guizhou) International Alcoholic Beverages Expo set a Guinness World Record on Sept 11 in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, for the most people shaking cocktails/mocktails simultaneously.

Organizers recruited over 1,835 challengers from across the country, representing a diverse group that included everyday citizens, enthusiasts, and industry professionals. Free to experiment, they crafted their own signature cocktails, breaking traditional bartending molds to celebrate a diverse world of beverage flavors.

Under the watch of an official Guinness World Records adjudicator, the participants worked in synchronized coordination to complete the process together.

This marks the second Guinness World Record title achieved by the China (Guizhou) International Alcoholic Beverages Expo, following its previous record for the "largest display of alcoholic beverages".
