The "Crafted Anew" Chinese Cultural Exhibition was held at the headquarters of the World Trade Organization (WTO) on Sept 15 in Geneva, Switzerland. Part of the cultural program for the 2026 WTO Public Forum, the exhibition featured Guizhou silverwork, Miao embroidery products, locally made lifestyle goods and photo books showcasing theatrical productions, giving visitors a closer look at the province's traditional crafts and culture.

The exhibition highlighted the integration of traditional craftsmanship and aesthetic patterns from Guizhou's ethnic cultures with contemporary creative design through displays, guided explanations, and interactive experiences.

During the event, staff members from the Guizhou Cultural and Performing Arts Group invited visitors to dive into Guizhou culture firsthand, offering interactive demonstrations on how to wear traditional ethnic costumes and style intricate silver ornaments.

The exhibition brought Guizhou's ethnic crafts, highlighting silverwork and Miao embroidery, to life. By offering hands-on and immersive experiences, the showcase told the story of Guizhou's culture in a way that let traditional craftsmanship speak for itself on the global stage.
