As autumn arrives, golden waves of rice roll across the fields and the sweet fragrance of melons and fruits fills the air in Southwest China's Guizhou province. Walking through rural scenes, visitors can immerse themselves in the colors of the countryside and taste the flavors of the harvest.

In Jiabang Terraced Fields of Congjiang county, rice paints the mountains in gold. Unlike commercialized terrace scenic spots, this place preserves the authentic agricultural atmosphere and daily life of Miao villages.

Visitors can drive along the winding mountain roads or take the high-speed rail to Congjiang Railway Station and then take a ride from there. Walking along the field ridges, they can watch the sunrise and sunset, experiencing the wild romance of the harvest season.

In 2024, the Jiabang Terraced Fields launched the "I Have a Plot in Jiabang" agritourism project, allowing visitors to adopt rice paddies, follow the growth of the crops, and participate in farming activities such as harvesting and catching paddy-field fish.

In Niaowang village, Guiding county, terraced fields at altitudes between 1,200 and 1,500 meters are currently at their golden peak. Parents can bring their children to enjoy the autumn scenery and hands-on experiences like rice harvesting, threshing, and drying, experiencing the joy of the autumn harvest. Before leaving, visitors can purchase Yunwu rice and Yunwu tea as souvenirs.

When the countryside becomes scenery, and the scenery becomes an industry, the harvest season is no longer just the joy of the farmers alone, but a shared feast for the entire land and visitors from all across the world.
