The Colorful Guizhou Art Troupe launched its Taiwan tour with a performance at the New Taipei City Arts Center on Oct 28, before moving to the Yunlin University of Science and Technology on Oct 30, where it staged two consecutive performances, offering audiences an authentic celebration of Guizhou's ethnic arts and culture.
Rooted in the cultures of Guizhou's ethnic communities, the troupe brought the sounds, rhythms, and physical expressions of everyday life amid Guizhou's mountains and rivers to the stage.

The production draws its artistic inspiration from the daily traditions of Guizhou's ethnic groups: celestial motifs from Miao silver jewelry inspire the costumes and lighting; the harmonies of Dong Grand Songs shape the music; the rhythmic beats of Sui bronze drums drive the choreography; and the organic beauty of Bouyei batik informs the stage design.
Beyond the stage, the production also promotes tourism, introducing audiences to three themed itineraries featuring traditional villages, rural landscapes, historic towns, hot springs, and intangible cultural heritage experiences, letting them begin their journey to discover Guizhou's spectacular landscapes and cultural treasures even as they enjoy the performance.
