The International Conference of Mountain Tourism and Outdoor Sports 2026 is scheduled for Nov 8 to 11 in Guizhou province's Qianxinan Bouyei and Miao autonomous prefecture, with a lineup of activities and various outdoor sports competitions.

Excitement is already building ahead of the opening, with the four-day 2026 International High-Bridge Extreme Sports Invitational Tournament wrapping up on Oct 23 at the Huajiang Grand Canyon Bridge and the 2026 "Racing Guizhou" Maling River Grand Canyon "Earth's Crack" International Extreme Canoe Slalom taking place from Oct 27 to 29 in Xingyi. Nearly 200 athletes from home and abroad gathered at the canyon to brave the churning rapids and towering cliffs.

Supporting events include the 20th China Wanfeng Lake Wild Fishing Grand Prix, running from Nov 6 to 10, and the 2026 Wanfenglin Ten-Thousand-Person Hiking Event on Nov 10.

As a global event centered on mountain tourism, the International Conference of Mountain Tourism and Outdoor Sports has evolved into a platform for international exchange and cooperation. The inaugural conference was held in Qianxinan in 2015, and after more than a decade of growing alongside the mountains, the 10th edition is returning to where it all began.
