To expand the amount of poverty alleviation aid being offered by East China's Zhejiang province to Southwest China's Guizhou province, senior officials from both regions convened at a symposium on July 30 in Guiyang, capital city of the latter province.
An online platform called "One Ma" – which integrates agricultural supply and demand functions – was launched on July 23 and it promises to help Southwest China's Guizhou province shake off poverty, according to local officials.
Of the 258 households in the village, located in Chishui city, Guizhou province, about half own an automobile, and 139 families have purchased apartments in the city, according to Tang.
Since the implementation of poverty alleviation for the disabled in 2019, Southwest China's Guizhou province has issued 660 million yuan ($93.22 million) and various supporting policies.
During the second quarter of this year, Southwest China's Guizhou province introduced 156 industrial projects to 12 poverty-stricken countries and districts, which had a total contract amount of 20.09 billion yuan ($2.83 billion).
