Guizhou NPC delegation holds plenary meeting

National People's Congress deputies from Southwest China's Guizhou province held a plenary meeting in Beijing on the afternoon of March 4, according to a report from Guizhou Daily. The deputies are in the capital to attend the fourth session of the 13th National People's Congress.

The meeting reviewed the draft list of the presidium and secretary-general of the fourth session of the 13th National People's Congress and the fourth session's draft agenda. It conveyed the intentions of the convener of the NPC deputy delegation.

The national two sessions are an essential opportunity to share Guizhou's achievements, tell Guizhou's stories and enhance the province's image.

The meeting demanded that all the NPC deputies raise their political awareness and insist on carefully considering vital issues – from political work to the country's overall situation. Deputies were also instructed to listen to, review and discuss various reports and proposals.
