Miao celebration

Dressed in festive costumes, people of the Miao ethnic group celebrate the Zimeijie, or Sisters' Festival, during a parade in Taijiang, Guizhou province, on Sunday. Traditionally, during the festival boys ask girls they like for festival rice, and the girls put tokens inside the packaged meals to express their attitudes toward the courtship.
