Guizhou tourism booms during Dragon Boat Festival holiday

During the Dragon Boat Festival holiday from June 12 to 14, Southwest China's Guizhou province received 15.44 million visits and earned 7.49 billion yuan ($1.17 billion) in tourism revenue.

Various activities related to the Dragon Boat Festival were organized at Guizhou's various scenic spots to attract tourists.

Since April, Guizhou has been carrying out tourism promotion activities in Shandong, Guangdong, Chongqing, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai, providing concession tickets for citizens from these areas.

From June 12 to 14, Guizhou's 23 scenic spots received more than 30,000 visits, seven demonstration areas for all-for-one tourism received 2.73 million visits, eight national 5A-level scenic sports received 861,000 visits, Yeyuhai Mountain Tourist Resort received 66,900 visits, and Danzhai Wanda Village received 84,000 visits.
