The 2021 China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week, which was originally scheduled to be held from Aug 26 to Sept 1, will be postponed and held instead on Sept 23-29 in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

The organizing committee will reportedly coordinate and prepare for the delay of the event and will welcome all the guests to attend the reset event.

This year's cooperation week will focus on the sustainable development of education. The event will include one opening ceremony and 23 activities from Sept 23 to 29, while another 40 activities will be held throughout the year.

The activities will cover higher education, vocational education, preschool education, continuing education, education cooperation involved in the Belt and Road Initiative, cooperation and integration between schools and enterprises, as well as youth exchanges.

The event reportedly aims to boost technological innovation in education, help with the training of personnel and promote educational cooperation between China and ASEAN amid the post-pandemic era.
