Southwest China's Guizhou province recently released tips to effectively control and reduce the risk of the spread of the COVID-19 epidemic.

Special reminders are as follows:

1. People entering Guizhou from abroad must proactively declare to their destination community (village) the time of entering Guizhou, method of entering Guizhou, history of contacts and their health status abroad (including whether they were diagnosed with a confirmed case, suspected case, asymptomatic infection or were positive in a nucleic acid test), or whether they have been vaccinated against the epidemic (a vaccination certificate is required). On entering Guizhou, people will be transported to their residential quarters or to an isolated place for 14-day home health monitoring under closed-loop management.

2. During the health monitoring period, people should live alone or live in a well-ventilated room with a separate bathroom. Body temperatures and symptoms monitoring should be done every day and regular nucleic acid testing should be undertaken. If there is any discomfort, please report this to community management or medical staff members in a timely manner.

3. During the home health monitoring period, one family member should help to provide health monitoring and other services for the new arrival, but the two should not be in contact with other family members and they should avoid close contact.

4. During the home health monitoring period, except for one certain family member, other family members are not allowed to come into contact with the new arrival, and must pay attention to their personal protection.

5. Windows should be opened more for ventilation, with each ventilation time no less than 30 minutes. Daily cleaning and preventive disinfection of the home environment should be performed.

6. Those arriving and their co-residents shall complete a vaccination as soon as possible. Pay attention to personal hygiene and health.
