Guizhou reports one locally transmitted COVID-19 case

According to the Guizhou Health Commission on Oct 19, one locally transmitted COVID-19 case was reported in the city of Zunyi in Southwest China's Guizhou province.

The patient was transferred to Guiyang's Jiangjunshan Hospital after being diagnosed. The patient's travel history has been released and people who made contact with the patient are being tracked down.

All the places that the patient has traveled to are under investigation and will be disinfected. Follow-up information will be released by the commission.

By 24:00 on Oct 19, Guizhou had reported 147 locally transmitted COVID-19 cases and one imported case, 145 cases have been treated, one case is under treatment, and two died.

The province currently has no suspected cases or asymptomatic cases.

The Guizhou Health Commission requires all residents to protect themselves by wearing masks, measuring body temperatures, washing hands, keeping rooms ventilated, and maintaining social distance.

If conditions such as fever, cough, and fatigue occur, please visit the nearest fever clinic immediately.
