Top 5 international Guizhou keywords revealed

Southwest China's Guizhou province revealed the province's top five keywords selected by global participants in Beijing on Oct 20.

The selection was launched by Guizhou's online media account "Live in Guizhou" at the end of May this year.

The top five words out of 40 candidate words were Anshun's Huangguoshu Water Fall, Xijiang One-thousand-household Miao Village, Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical Radio Telescope, Tongren's Fanjing Mountain, and the Dong Grand Chorus.

Guizhou is known for its natural scenery, ethnic culture, and delicious food. It has lifted 9.23 million people out of poverty, and its economic aggregate has increased rapidly.

With an improved economy, natural environment, and living standards, Guizhou's overseas popularity has increased. Search engine big data shows that searches related to Guizhou have been increased by 433 percent over the past 10 years.
