According to the Guizhou Health Commission, Southwest China's Guizhou province reported five locally transmitted COVID-19 cases on Oct 26, all of which were previously asymptomatic cases. Guizhou currently has 11 confirmed cases and one asymptomatic case, all reported in the city of Zunyi.

Jiangjunshan Hospital in Guizhou's provincial capital Guiyang, which is a designated hospital for treating COVID-19, organized 64 medical workers on Oct 20. All of the medics fought against the novel coronavirus in Guizhou and Hubei provinces last year.

That same day, 14 experts from the Guizhou Provincial People's Hospital, the Affiliated Hospital of Guizhou Medical University, the 1st Affiliated Hospital of Guizhou University of TCM, the 2nd Affiliated Hospital of Guizhou University of TCM, and the Second People's Hospital of Guizhou Province started working at Jiangjunshan Hospital.

The expert team will follow the real-time situation of each patient, provide targeted therapeutic schedules, and improve medical workers' treatment skills.
