The all-for-one tourism campaign for the Guizhou Provincial Museum in Guiyang – capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province – was recently selected as one of 100 national cultural heritage tourism success cases.

China in 2017 issued a guideline on the development of all-for-one tourism demonstration zones to get local governments to integrate tourism resources to improve tourism competitiveness and service quality. It shifts the focus of tourism development to providing comprehensive services instead of relying just on ticket revenue from tourist sites.

The selection process for the list of 100 considered the projects' values, conservation and utilization of cultural relics, tourism brand marketing, tourist experience, sustainable development of cultural heritage sites, promotion of traditional culture and its contribution to enhancing national unity.

As a national first-level museum, the Guizhou Provincial Museum has engaged in all-for-one tourism promotions – including expanding exhibits, communicating with other museums, launching education activities and developing cultural and creative products.
