An online exhibition about Macao's poverty alleviation assistance for Congjiang county – which is located in Southwest China's Guizhou province – was launched at the University of Macao on Nov 15 and will reportedly run for six months.

The exhibition is available on the Macao Special Administrative Region government website and on the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Macao Special Administrative Region website.

In 2018, Macao started to help lift Congjiang county out of poverty. During the three-year poverty alleviation program, it carried out more than 160 separate acts involving the donations of goods, education support and volunteer medical services – among others – and handed over 110 million yuan ($17.24 million) in donation.

With the joint efforts from all parties, Guizhou's 66 poverty-stricken counties reportedly successfully emerged from poverty in 2020.
