In recent years, Southwest China's Guizhou province has been taking part in the Belt and Road Initiative and the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor, and with the opening of the first direct China-Europe freight train service to Moscow, more and more goods will be sold to Asia and Europe.

Compared with sea transportation, the direct China-Europe freight train is cheaper, faster, more environmentally friendly, and has a lower risk of COVID-19 infection.

The train departs from Guiyang's Dulaying international land-sea logistics port, passes through Manzhouli in Inner Mongolia, and finally arrives in Moscow.

The service offers more choices for Guizhou's foreign trade companies, and will help Guizhou accept relocated industries, cultivate new business models, upgrade its industrial foundations, optimize its business environment, and reduce logistics costs for companies.

Guizhou Railway Investment Group's Dula Logistics Co, operator of the Dula international land-sea logistics port, will design customized logistics plans to help companies reduce logistics costs, cooperate with China Railway Chengdu Group Co to open more freight railway routes to Central Europe and Central Asia, and cooperate with the Guiyang Free Trade Zone customs to establish a customs supervision area at the port.

Yao Feiyang, director of the Guiyang Free Trade Zone, said that the free trade zone will cooperate with more ports along seas, rivers and borders to turn its logistics channel into a logistics port and contribute to Guizhou's export-oriented economic growth.
