Guizhou makes annual travelers' choice list

Mafengwo, a travel service and social networking platform, released the 2021 travelers' choice list on Nov 30, which included several hotels, homestays and restaurants in Southwest China's Guizhou province.

The list is based on the travel experience shared by Mafengwo's users, and evaluated the most well-liked Guizhou scenic spots, hotels and restaurants according to trade volume, service quality and reviews of related products.

Guizhou's 10 hotels were selected as hotels of the year, 20 homestays were selected as Guizhou's homestays of the year or annul mori-style homestays, one sour soup fish restaurant was selected as Guizhou's restaurant of the year, one night market was selected as Guizhou's food street of the year, and one waterfall was selected as Guizhou's precious scenic spot of the year.

Mafengwo also released a list of "Chinese wonderlands" in 2021 on the same day. Guizhou's Axilixi grassland in Bijie city and Yachi River Bridge were included on the list.

Zhang Meibiao, an official of the Guizhou Department of Culture and Tourism, said that the list will encourage more tourism companies in Guizhou to develop more tourism products based on the needs of tourists, allowing tourists to better experience Guizhou's beautiful scenery, unique culture, cozy accommodation, and delicious food.
