Guizhou attracts investment for elderly care projects

Southwest China's Guizhou province held a second provincial project promotion event for the elderly care industry in Qiannan Bouyei and Miao autonomous prefecture's Longli county on Dec 6.

A group of guests were invited to visit Guizhou's successful elderly care facilities, and the province's nine cities and prefectures introduced their elderly care projects.

Nine projects with a total contracted investment of 6.09 billion yuan ($955.92 million) were agreed during the event.

The event also recognized the elderly care facilities in Longli county, Tongzi county, Guiyang's Yunyan district, Zunyi city, Songtao county, Dushan county, Chishui city, Liupanshui city, Anshun city, Bijie city, Shigan county, Majiang county, Xingyi's Yilong New Area and Qianxinan Bouyei and Miao autonomous prefecture as pilot or demonstration elderly care projects.
