2021 Guizhou Entrepreneurs Conference held in Guiyang

The 2021 National leading Private Enterprises Boosting Guizhou's High-quality Development Conference and the 2021 Guizhou Entrepreneurs Conference were held in Guiyang – capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province – on Dec 12.

At the conferences, 20 investment projects were signed, with a contract value of 61.58 billion yuan ($9.67 billion). The projects will be implemented in cities of Guiyang, Zunyi, Anshun, Bijie and Tongren, as well as in the autonomous prefectures of Qiandongnan, Qiannan and Qianxinan.

Guizhou is the first province in West China to evaluate its business environment with World Bank's standards, since 2017. It has launched an action plan, opened up hot lines and set up volunteers to monitor and improve the business environment.

During the first nine months of this year, Guizhou attracted 1,308 high-quality and strong enterprises and ranked 13th in a business environment ranking list evaluated by the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce.

Officials and company representatives also introduced Guizhou's business opportunities and its future development plans at the conferences.
