Guizhou becomes demonstration zone for West China Development

Southwest China's Guizhou province was recently helped to become a demonstration zone for the comprehensive reform of West China Development, according to a document issued by the State Council in January.

Guizhou will accelerate the reform of data utilization, shift resources flowing from low-quality and inefficient areas to high-quality and efficient areas, improve the quality and efficiency of resource allocation, and attract resources for advanced productivity.

The reform of State-owned enterprises (SOEs) and assets will continue to be enhanced, and Guizhou will promote the strategic reorganization and integration of SOEs, enhance the SOE operation evaluation system oriented on efficiency, accelerate SOEs' mixed-ownership reform, and implement equity and bonus incentive policies for technological SOEs.

It will also optimize the business environment to collect all government services onto one online platform, offer both online and offline services for real estate registration, trading and tax payment, complete its social credit system and improve the quality of financial services for the real economy.
