A freight train carrying 50 standard containers departed from the Dulaying Railway Station in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Feb 16.

It is the 10th China-Europe direct freight train from Guizhou province and will arrive at Moscow's Vorsino Railway Station in 15 days.

The train is packed with cargo such as tires, motorbikes, children's clothing and daily necessities weighing a total of 901 metric tons.

To protect the cargo, the train drivers re-practice their driving techniques every time before the trip. Employees at Dulaying Railway Station also deliver and dispatch freight trains to ensure safe and stable operations.

China-Europe direct freight trains help Guizhou sell agricultural products to Central Asia and Europe. In recent years, Guizhou has been participating in the Belt and Road Initiative and the New International Land-Sea Corridor to open more China-Europe freight trains.

In the future, Guizhou plans to open China-Europe Freight trains to Poland and Germany. The railway transportation departments will also integrate transportation resources in and around Guizhou to optimize transportation efficiency for Guizhou's foreign trade companies and extend their overseas industrial and supply chains.
