Huangguoshu Waterfall rated as Guizhou's best destination

The official English website, Facebook account and Twitter account of Southwest China's Guizhou province recently initiated a vote for the best destination in the province.

According to the results on Feb 16, Huangguoshu Waterfall ranked first with 40 percent of the vote, followed by Fanjing Mountain, Zhenyuan Ancient Town and Zhaoxing Dong Village.

The results had 67,700 page views and were forwarded, liked and commented by netizens from countries such as the United States, Ethiopia and Nigeria.

Guizhou started focusing on developing its cultural power in 2016 and tourism power in 2020. With the integration of culture and tourism, as well as tourism industrialization, Guizhou received 644 million tourists and achieved 664.22 billion yuan ($104.98 billion) in tourism revenue in 2021.
