Yan Hailing from the city of Guiyang was encouraged by the Guizhou Disabled Persons' Federation to attend the national team's assembly for alpine skiing in 2018. He will compete in alpine skiing at the Paralympic Winter Games.

Li Hongguan, also from Qiandongnan, will compete in ice hockey at the Paralympic Winter Games.
