Guizhou to launch more scenario-based 5G applications

Southwest China's Guizhou province plans to apply 200 scenario-based 5G applications in industrial internet, energy, transportation, education, and medical treatment in 2022, and promote its successful experience in the application of 5G.

In recent years, the Big Data Development Administration of Guizhou Province has been encouraging companies to apply 5G in more scenarios, promoting the construction and development of 5G in the province and allowing 5G to boost Guizhou's industrial development.

The administration also created scenario-based 5G applications in civil, commercial and government areas to promote the digitalization, networking and intelligentizaion of key industrial sectors.

By organizing a supply and demand coordination meeting and 5G application competitions, the administration has expanded the scale of 5G applications.

It has also promoted good uses of 5G, awarded pilot 5G application projects, offered financial support, and recommended benchmarking 5G applications to national government departments and commissions.
