The Guizhou International Center in Southwest China's Guizhou province and Ghana's national new building material science park recently signed a cooperation agreement to maintain close commerce cooperation and boost economic and trade exchanges between China and Ghana.

The national new building material science park is a cooperation result of the Belt and Road Initiative and Ghana government. It focuses on building materials, engineering machinery, mining machinery, environmentally-friendly new building materials, construction technology services, the green development of mines, tailing, and the comprehensive utilization of solid waste.

It aims to become the most influential national industrial park in West Africa.

According to the agreement, the science park will set up an exhibition center to sell Guizhou's featured products both online and offline in Africa. The exhibition center is expected to boost trade between Guizhou and Ghana and attract indirect investment.

It will benefit neighboring areas through cross-border e-commerce and real economy and bring more Guizhou products and companies to Africa.

As a comprehensive service platform for foreign trade, the Guizhou International Center is devoted to promoting Guizhou's foreign trade, enhancing cooperation between different companies, and promoting the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries.

It also helps government departments learn about industrial information, explore innovation models for industrial development, and accelerate the development of the export-oriented economy in Guizhou.
