2022 G-Run Mountain Match kicks off in Chishui

The 2022 G-Run Mountain Match and the Chishui half marathon kicked off in Chishui city, Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Dec 3.

The match includes a half marathon, a 10-kilometer run and a 5 km run.

After fierce competition, Yin Guanghai won first place in the men's half marathon with a time of 1:25:01, while Liu Jingxian won first place in the women's half marathon with a time of 1:54:17.

Zhou Qunyi and Luo Yonghui won first place in the men's and women's groups of the 10 km run, respectively.

Chishui boasts abundant tourism resources and is home to Chishui Danxia, one of Guizhou's four World Natural Heritage sites. The marathon route runs along the Chishui River, and starts and ends at Kaicheng Square.

The G-Run Mountain Match, launched by Guizhou, was recognized as a sports tourism demonstration project by the General Administration of Sport in 2020 and selected as an excellent sports competition in 2022.
