Construction on Liuzhi Bridge in full swing

Liuzhi Bridge, a part of the Nayong-Qinglong Expressway and located in Liuzhi special region in Southwest China's Guizhou province, recently saw its piers sealed and construction begin on its beams.

The bridge is 2,023.5 meters long, with the highest pier standing at 196 meters and the main arch spanning 320 meters. When completed, the bridge will connect with the Hangzhou-Ruili Expressway, Xiamen-Chengdu Expressway and Shanghai-Kunming Expressway.

It is expected to improve the traffic situation in western Guizhou, provide fast transportation channels to nearby Sichuan and Guangxi, and also allow fast transportation for cars from Sichuan and Chongqing travelling to Yunan and Guangxi through Guizhou.
