The Guizhou Provincial Development and Reform Commission recently issued a notice to stimulate and promote the rapid growth of private investment.
The notice includes a list of 2,500 major private investment projects for 2023, with a planned annual investment of 368.31 billion yuan ($53.65 billion).
The notice requires all departments to expand their private investment, and strive for national and provincial funding to support the preparation and construction of the listed major projects.
All cities and prefectures should provide "one-on-one" services to follow up with the construction and implementation of major projects, help companies save on taxes, and reduce the cost of electricity, land and rent for companies.
In the future, the commission will manage and dispatch major private investment projects monthly, cooperate with other departments to study and solve key problems in Guizhou's private investment sector, and realize online application, approval, information release and collaborative supervision to improve the efficiency and quality of private investment services.
