During the first session of the 14th National People's Congress (NPC) held in Beijing from March 5 to 13, NPC deputies from Southwest China's Guizhou province submitted eight motions and 206 suggestions.
Among the eight motions, seven involved legal amendments and one involved the creation of new laws. The 206 suggestions focused on the economy, society, law, culture, and ecological civilization.
Focusing on new industrialization, new urbanization, agricultural modernization and tourism industrialization, Guizhou's NPC deputies submitted 195 suggestions. They also submitted eight motions and 112 suggestions focusing on education, medical treatment, law, environmental protection, and people's livelihoods.
All motions and suggestions have been approved by the session's motion team and dispatched to the relevant NPC committees and central government departments.
