Southwest China's Guizhou province recently issued a plan aiming to help college and university graduates find employment in the province.

The government will provide social insurance and a one-time employment subsidy for enterprises hiring unemployed graduates. A series of supporting policies related to entrepreneurship subsidies, venue rental subsidies and guaranteed loans for start-ups will help graduates start their businesses in the province.

The government will also strengthen cooperation with universities and enterprises from developed regions to cultivate and bolster graduates' skills.

It also plans to recruit 5,581 civil servants, while about 23,000 positions in public institutions will be open to the public.

In addition, efforts will be made to build supply and demand matchmaking platforms online and offline. The online platforms including various websites and WeChat accounts will allow enterprises to issue their recruitment needs, while the offline job fairs and the 11th Guizhou Professions Convention will provide graduates with more employment opportunities.

For those unemployed graduates, the government will freely provide "131" services, which refers to one career guidance, three job referrals, and one vocational training or internship opportunity.

The government will also improve its supervision of illegal behaviors encroaching on graduates' employment rights, such as unqualified employment agencies, fake recruitment, and recruitment discrimination.
