A delegation of more than 20 ambassadors and senior diplomats from 19 countries such as Fiji, Mauritius, and Greece, as well as the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), arrived at Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on June 3.

They will embark on an ecological and cultural mission, and attend the Ambassadors' Roundtable Dialogue.

At the airport, they were welcomed by performers singing ethnic songs from Guizhou accompanied by the sounds of the lusheng, a local instrument.

During the next five days, the delegates will travel to different cities in the province, including Guiyang, Anshun, and Bijie, to visit and research their achievements in ecological civilization, rural vitalization, green poverty alleviation, scientific innovation, and the construction of key infrastructure such as bridges.

They will witness firsthand how Guizhou has balanced its development with environmental protection, while pushing forward China's modernization efforts.
