Guizhou referees serve at 31st FISU Games

At the 31st FISU World University Summer Games, which are currently being held in Chengdu, Southwest China's Sichuan province, two referees from Southwest China's Guizhou province are serving as domestic technical officials.

Zhu Hai and Xu Zhao, both from the Guizhou Basketball Association, are mainly responsible for the technical statistics and event services of the basketball matches.

Zhu Hai is a teacher from the Guizhou Vocational College of Sports and a national-level basketball referee. He is also a referee for the Women's Chinese Basketball Association and Men's National Basketball League and a member of the Guizhou Basketball Association Referee Committee.

In recent years, he has officiated in various national and international basketball events.

Xu Zhao is an associate professor at the Qiannan Preschool Education College for Nationalities. He is a member of the Guizhou Basketball Association Referee Committee and vice-chairman of the Qiannan Bouyei and Miao Autonomous Prefecture Basketball Association.

In 2018, he became a national-level basketball referee. In 2020, he became a C-level coach of the Chinese Basketball Association, and in the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 seasons, he served as a monitor for the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) professional league.

In recent years, he has officiated in various domestic and provincial basketball events such as the Four Countries Men's Basketball Invitational Competition, the National U21 Men's Youth Basketball League, the 24th National Finals of the Chinese University Basketball League (north zone), and the 25th National Finals of the Chinese University Basketball Second-tier League.
