Guizhou girl wins gold, silver and bronze medals at 31st FISU Games

At the women's half marathon team final of the 31st Chengdu FISU World University Summer Games on Aug 6, Chinese athletes Xia Yuyu, Luo Xia, Niu Lihua, and Wang Jiali secured the bronze medal with an impressive time of 3:48:44.

This achievement marks the third medal for Xia Yuyu, a talented girl from Southwest China's Guizhou province, at this year's FISU Games.

Xia also showcased her exceptional abilities in earlier events. In the women's 10,000-meter final on Aug 1, Xia surpassed her opponents in the last lap and claimed the gold medal.

Then, on the evening of Aug 5, Xia represented the Chinese team in the women's 5,000-meter final. She crossed the finish line with a remarkable time of 16:04.00, earning herself a silver medal.
