Theme for 2024 Big Data Expo open to public suggestions

The China International Big Data Industry Expo is the world's first national-level expo with a focus on big data. It has been held nine times and has become a prestigious international event and platform in the field of big data.

The 2024 session, the 10th edition of the Big Data Expo, is already being prepared, and the theme of the event is open to suggestions from the public.

All individuals and institutions can submit their suggestions until Dec 28, 2023.

The submitted theme should comply with the expo's concept of "global vision, national perspective, industry angle, and corporate standpoint"; and focus on important global topics in the digital economy that are both theoretical and understandable to a wide audience.

The theme should be connected to national strategies, industry trends, and cutting-edge technologies.

Submissions must be original and not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others. They should not have been previously published or widely known to the public.

Please fill out the submission form for the 2024 Big Data Expo theme and send it via email to sbhzhxtz@guiyang.gov.cn. Please include "2024 Big Data Expo + Your Name + Contact Number" in the email subject and filename.

The expo's executive office will review all submitted proposals. The initial review will result in the selection of 50 entries as finalists, granting them the "finalist award".

In the subsequent review, 10 entries will be nominated for the "nominee award" from the pool of 50 finalists. The final evaluation will be carried out by experts to determine the top 3 "best theme" candidates from the "nominee award" works.

Entries receiving the "best theme" designation will be presented with a certificate and be invited to participate in various activities, such as the opening ceremony, high-level dialogues, professional forums, exhibitions, and the expo release.

Entries receiving the "nominee award" will be presented with a certificate and be invited to participate in high-level dialogues, professional forums, exhibitions, and the expo release.

Entries receiving the "finalist award" will be presented with a certificate and be invited to participate in professional forums, exhibitions, and the expo release.

All finalists will receive a souvenir from the expo's executive office.
